ORDERS

How do I order?

The menu tab above has a PRODUCT category which you can click on to browse through our many products. At the bottom of each product page you will find a button to open up an order form for that specific product. This form will guide you to quickly fill in all the details we need in order to send you a quotation. Simply click the request quotation button once your form is complete and we will send you a quotation ASAP. This quote will include the delivery cost and all of the products you have specified (so if you want chairs, a table, and a beautiful pendant to dangle above it, simply fill out the order forms below each page and we will combine these into one quotation for you).

If you would prefer to chat to us about your requirements, send us your FF&E schedule, or order directly via another human, you are more than welcome to do so. Please send us a mail to info@davidkrynauw.com or give us a call.

If you are happy with your quote you can then proceed to confirm your order by paying a deposit of 50% on the quoted amount. We can then proceed to make your beautiful furniture!

DELIVERY

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?

All of our products are made to order, which means we need some time to make them especially for you. Our standard lead time is six to eight weeks, but it can vary depending on the size of your order and whether or not you have some custom items which need to be designed.

Once your order has been confirmed with a deposit, we can determine your exact delivery date which we will then confirm with you. We will then keep you updated on the progress as it is being manufactured.

Our lead time of six to eight weeks does not include the time it may take to deliver. Local deliveries can take one to four working days, and international deliveries anything from seven days to a fortnight, depending on your location.

Please note that no orders can be dispatched before the full payment has been received for your order. Once we have received your confirmation of payment we can release your order for delivery to your doorstep.


I'm on the other side of the world - can I still order your furniture?

Yes you can! Even though we are based in South Africa, our reliable couriers can deliver to all major cities around the world. Please note that delivery does take additional time; local deliveries can take one to four days, and international deliveries can take eight days to a fortnight, depending on your location.


Charges for delivery

We make use of reliable couriers, who are reasonably priced and take care in delivering orders to your doorstep. The cost is calculated based on the size of your order, as well as the travel distance. Delivery cost will always be included up front on your quotation, so you don't have to worry about any hidden costs or additional expenses. 


WARRANTY

Are your products subject to a warranty?

Yes, our products are all subject to an automatic warranty period of five years from the delivery date. Our warranty certificate can be downloaded by clicking here. This will give you peace of mind that our products are of a high quality and made to last. 

Please note that the warranty does not apply if the product has any evidence of damages, accidents, negligence, misuse or alterations.


My product is faulty - what now?

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your product, there might have been a manufacturing issue or fault. Please send us an email so we can assess the issue and assist you by providing an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

PRODUCTS

I want a custom size

With the capabilities of our production method, we can make custom sizes and variations of the furniture which is available on our website. If you would like an amended design to suit your preference, please send us an email to info@davidkrynauw.com to start the conversation.


I want to choose my own color / finish / textile combinations

We offer a range of timbers, finishes, powder coating colors, textiles, cords and weave color options which allow you to customize each product the way you like it.

If you scroll down on a product page, you will find a section entitled VARIANT SELECTION. This section displays all of the options available to customize on that specific product. You can also click on these options for a larger view in order to get a closer look and make an informed decision. 

If you need some help selecting the right combination, we will be more than happy to provide you with some insight and advice. Contact us via phone or email and we will assist you in your selection. 


I want to use a different fabric/leather for upholstery

If you would like to use your own textile for the upholstery, you are welcome to provide it. We will then quote you for the COM (customer's own material) option, which will exclude textile cost, and allow you to provide us with your own.

If you do not have your own, and are looking for something different to what we have on offer, you are welcome to contact us and we will source a specific fabric for you. Simply give us a call or send us a mail.  


I want a custom steel color

Powder coating is a durable finish which can be color-matched to any custom colors. This is however subject to minimum order quantities. 

We can also do spray-coating, which offers endless possibilities at an additional rate . If you provide us with a physical sample (a print-out/color card/image/paint swatch) we can match it. We take care in providing quality products, but please do note that there can be variations in the final color application.


I want a unique timber

We love working with rare timbers and special finds when they are available. If you have your own timber source or would like us to source something unique for you (which will depend on what is available at any given time), please contact us to start the conversation. 


You don't seem to have the color / finish / textile / size that I am looking for

No problem, we can go that extra mile. Chat to us about what you are looking for by sending us a mail or giving us a call. We can source custom fabrics, use a custom finish and provide you with the solution you need.


MEDIA SERVICES

I am working on a presentation and need 3D models/drawings

Not to worry! If you are a professional seeking to specify some of our products, we will happily supply you with the files you need in order to include our products in your project. Send us a mail at info@davidkrynauw.com with a list of the products you are interested in using. We will provide you with a compatible file to import into your project. Ready, set, render!


I need images for publications/media/moodboards etc.

We are more than happy to help with this too. With the benefit of in-house photography, we can supply you with a range of image formats in the quality you need. Please just drop us a mail at info@davidkrynauw.com with your details and requirements and we'll be good to go.


MAINTENANCE

How do I take proper care of my product?

We use quality materials to make our products, which also includes natural materials like timber and leather. These require some special care to ensure you get the most out of you product, and keep it looking its best. We highly recommend reading through these tips of what to do (and what NOT to do) after purchasing a product from us, to ensure you take the correct steps in caring, cleaning and looking after your products.  


I purchased my product from you some time ago, and it needs some TLC - can you help?

We always like to welcome back our more "experienced" furniture for a little refreshment. Whether it is a table top that needs to be sanded and re-finished, or a chair that needs some new upholstery - we will be happy to service them for you.

Send us an email, with some pictures, and we will assess the repairs in order to provide you with a quotation for the job at hand. This will depend on the services you need, and will also include a fee for the collection and delivery of your refreshed furniture piece.
